WR Doctoral Training Partnership accredited 2017-2022

August 2, 2016

In February 2016 a bid was submitted to the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) for a new White Rose Social Sciences Doctoral Training Partnership (WRDTP).   We are pleased to announce that we have been successful and accredited to award studentships for six cohorts of doctoral researchers starting in October 2017.

The new partnership builds on the success of the existing White Rose Doctoral Training Centre (Universities of Sheffield, York and Leeds) by bringing in the social sciences research excellence of the Universities of Hull, Sheffield Hallam, Bradford and Manchester Metropolitan.  The new WRDTP will offer training in 7 interdisciplinary themed pathways.

This new WRDTP is one of 14 new ESRC accredited partnerships across the UK.

More news on this exciting development will follow in September 2016 when we hear about the number of studentships we can offer.
