White Rose DTC Branding/Visual Identity

wrdtc visual logo

The White Rose DTC supports many training and networking activities and events such as conferences, workshops and seminars.  These events can be led by pathways, departments or student groups.  In these instances the White Rose DTC branding and visual identity should be used consistently and appropriately by only using approved templates, logos and wording.  Templates and logos for the White Rose DTC visual identity are available to download below for use in event promotional material, handouts, signage and general communications.

If you are unsure whether it is appropriate to use the White Rose DTC or ESRC branding please contact us on enquiries@wrdtc.ac.uk .

ESRC

In some cases, White Rose DTC activities are specifically ESRC funded or for ESRC funded students only, in which case you should also use the ESRC logo.  Please see their visual identity webpage http://www.esrc.ac.uk/about-esrc/visual-identity/ for downloads and instructions.  All ESRC students should acknowledge funder support on any publication or any other form of dissemination arising from their PhD.

Profile Text

When describing the White Rose DTC please use the following approved text:

Long version:

The White Rose Doctoral Training Centre in Social Sciences (DTC) was established in January 2011 with an investment from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) to provide a national training centre for postgraduate researchers in social sciences, including the award of a minimum of 48 full scholarships per year.

By combining the expertise of the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York, the DTC delivers excellent supervision, first class training and vibrant intellectual environments for postgraduate research students.

The Centre trains social scientists to meet the demands of future global challenges whether working within industry, academia or government.  We offer an exciting interdisciplinary approach to postgraduate research training, combining taught and research elements.

The DTC offers a range of scholarships across core disciplines and interdisciplinary areas, meaning greater scope for ground-breaking research projects.  Students have access to national and international networks of industrial partners, opinion formers, policy makers and academics, enabling us to produce doctoral graduates with outstanding skills and flexibility.
