WRDTP Welcome Event 2017

All new PhD Social Sciences doctoral researchers from the Universities of Bradford, Hull, Leeds, Manchester Metropolitan, Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam and York are warmly invited to attend the White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership Welcome Event, 23 October 2017, at Parkinson Court, Parkinson Building, University of Leeds.

This is a compulsory event for ESRC funded students.

This is the first of the WRDTP events and conferences in 2017-18 and forms one part of the wide range of training events and courses offered to our post graduate research community.

Departure Details from University of York:
Time: 08.15
Place: Chemistry Hub, Innovation Way, Science Park.

We expect to arrive in Leeds at approx 09.30 where you will be shown where to register and collect your badge.

The conference should finish around 16.30 and the coaches will be waiting for you where we were dropped off in the morning.  We should be back in York, Chemistry Hub at around 17.30 – 18.00.

Coaches will have a White Rose DTP sign in their window and DTP representatives will be at the pick up point to tick off names.

We have limited coach places and conference places so please do not bring along additional people at the last minute, unfortunately we have health and safety issues to consider.

Please note, if you have requested complimentary coach travel from the University of Hull, Bradford or MMU, your WRDTP Link Administrator will be in touch with your travel details.

Location

Poster Exhibition: Current 2nd and 3rd year students who would like to participate in the Welcome Event and exhibit a poster are requested to complete this Welcome-Event-2017-WR-DTP-Poster-Form and also book onto the event.
