WRDTC Welcome Event 2016

Date - Thursday, 6th October 2016 (10:00 am - 4:30 pm)


All new PhD Social Sciences doctoral researchers from the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York are warmly invited to attend the White Rose Doctoral Training Centre Welcome Event, 6 October 2016, at the Ron Cooke Hub, University of York.

This is a compulsory event for ESRC funded students.

This is the first of the WRDTC events and conferences in 2016-17 and forms one part of the wide range of training events and courses offered to our post graduate research community.

Departure Details from University of Leeds:
Time: 08.45
Place: Parkinson Building steps

We expect to arrive in York at approx 09.45 where you will be shown where to register and collect your badge.

The conference should finish around 16.30 and the coaches will be waiting for you where we were dropped off in the morning.  We should be back in Leeds, Parkinson Building at around 17.30 – 18.00.

Coaches will have a White Rose DTC sign in their window and DTC representatives will be at the pick up point to tick off names.

We have limited coach places and conference places so please do not bring along additional people at the last minute, unfortunately we have health and safety issues to consider.
