7th Annual Regional Social Work PhD Summer Conference

Date - Friday, 8th July 2016 (9:30 am - 4:30 pm)

Following previous successful events we are now organising the seventh annual conference. Research students from any of the Yorkshire universities are invited to attend and/or present at this forthcoming event. Noted social work researchers Professor Tony Evans (Royal Holloway) and Professor Jan Fook (Leeds Trinity) will deliver key note sessions. This will be an exciting opportunity for PhD students to meet with other doctoral students, as well as academics involved in social work research. You will have the opportunity to present your own research, to hear other researchers present their work and to meet with peers and colleagues to share ideas and experiences.

One of the main reasons why these events have been so successful has been the presentations by PhD students on their ongoing research. If you would like to present or you would like to talk to me about the possibility of presenting then please contact me on the below email address.

There is no charge to attend this event.

A confirmed programme will be circulated close to the event date.

To indicate your interest in either presenting or attending, or if you have any queries, please contact: Mark Hardy, mark.hardy@york.ac.uk
